Tom's Midnight Garden

Production Blog

One month before showtime

As promised here is a sneak peak of Tricksy, the tree for the production. She is really coming to life now and with the added extras, she is becoming more magical. Looking at the designs and now the real thing I can see how far it has come, I hope you can too! I have also finished two of the set pieces that will be hanging off of her, although you will have to wait for the show to see those. A more detailed look and the making of Trixie will be released this weekend by our wonderful filmmaker Joel so stay tuned and keep your eyes peeled for that!

On the costume side of Tom's Midnight Garden, Saskia has been hard at work handcrafting a jacket for one of our cast. Look at how beautiful the embroidered collar is! It is so in keeping with our show and I can’t wait to see it being worn by one of our cast members which have now all been cast. Both Saskia and I have a few weeks left of getting our work ready before we start touring around a month's time, it’s going to be intense but so worth it in the end.

In other parts of the team, Katy and Estelle have been hard at work marketing the show and with great results! Some shows have been fully booked up already, but not to fear there are more tickets still up for grabs.
